Yesudas, Amjad Ali Khan and he is credited with over 15,000 performances in India and abroad. He worked at the university for 27 years in various capacities such as the professor and head of the department of Music and, later, as the Dean of the School of Fine Arts.

Yella Venkateswara Rao has concert the many best mridangam solo music shows in india.
